Gifts to Creative Expression contribute to...
Creative Expression fuels the artistic experiences that shape confident, curious, and accomplished students at Detroit Country Day School.
This designation supports essential studio materials and visual arts resources across all divisions — from clay, metals, and sketching supplies in the Upper School, to Scholastic art programming and paint in the Middle School, to foundational creative materials in the Lower School.
Art is not extracurricular at DCDS. It is essential.
Upper School students consistently earn Gold Key honors and other top awards in regional competitions — a reflection of both their talent and the strength of our program. Award-winning work requires investment in quality materials and dedicated studio resources.
This year’s investment includes approximately:
- $15,000 in Upper School studio materials
- $15,000 in Middle School programming and supplies
- $10,000 in Lower School creative resources
Excellence isn’t just academic — it’s creative.
Your gift ensures our studios remain vibrant, competitive, and ready for the next award-winning submission.
